Although music changes as the years progress, I can never forget the sound of JAZZ. Jazz gives me a vision of life. The jazz sounds of the guitars/string instruments, drums, pianos and horns/wind instruments are so dynamic either together or on their own.
Jazz music paints a picture that either brings a smile to my face or it allows my abstract thoughts to run and be free. Jazz soothes and massages my stress away while at the same time JAZZ allows my creative juices to simmer and produce ART! SO!! I SAY ALL OF THAT TO SAY THIS!!

Ella’s infectious smile and her jazzy voice are truly captivating. She represents a special era. A era of class.
The classic duets she did with artist like Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday and many others are priceless. Ella's influence is still strong... I hear artist like, (MY GIRL) Chrisette Michele and I even remember the first time I listened to Queen Latifah's jazz cd... I smiled and thought of Ella.
Ella although you are gone, you are never forgotten.
